LANAP: Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure

The most comfortable and effective treatment for gum disease - don't be scared anymore!

So what does LANAP really MEAN?  After all, that's a pretty long name, but what does it mean for you, the patient? Here's the easiest, most accurate way to translate LANAP into normal English, not "dental-ese" or "legal-ese:"  when we use the PerioLase MVP-7 dental laser to treat your gum disease, it kills the bacteria, removes the infected gum tissue while leaving healthy tissue completely alone, and closes the gums up for a short period of time so your body can heal.  And as it heals, it REATTACHES the gums back to your teeth the way they should be, and it REGENERATES bone! What probably means the most to YOU, though, is that this procedure is remarkably comfortable! And if you don't believe it, follow this link to hear the stories of patients who've experienced it: Smiles by Payet Dentistry on YouTube

That's a pretty big claim to make, isn't it?  Reattaches your gums and regenerates bone?  To be completely honest, until recently, this was thought to be impossible, but the inventors of the Periolase dental laser began seeing it happen as early as the late 1990's, and so they pushed forward despite all the doubters, and today we have research to prove it.  How solid is the research?  Well, it was good enough the the FDA gave the inventors a patent on the procedure, which no other laser in dentistry can claim!

What is involved with doing LANAP, which is also called "Laser Periodontal Therapy(TM)?"  Describing it isn't easy unless you have some pictures to go along with it; the following videos will give you most of the details you need, and even let you hear the first-hand experiences of some patients.:
